को होता कश्च वाऽग्नीध्रः को ब्रह्मा तत्र संस्थितः । उद्गाता कः स्थितस्तत्र ह्याचार्यो यज्ञकर्मणि

ko hotā kaśca vā'gnīdhraḥ ko brahmā tatra saṃsthitaḥ | udgātā kaḥ sthitastatra hyācāryo yajñakarmaṇi

അവിടെ ഹോതാ ആരായിരുന്നു, അഗ്നീധ്രൻ ആരായിരുന്നു? അവിടെ ബ്രഹ്മാ (നിയാമക പുരോഹിതൻ) ആയി ആരാണ് ആസീനനായിരുന്നത്? പിന്നെ ഉദ്ഗാതാ ആരായിരുന്നു—യജ്ഞകർമ്മത്തിലെ ആചാര്യൻ ആരായിരുന്നു?
