सूत उवाच । भृगुर्हौत्रे ततस्तेन वृतो ब्राह्मणसत्तमाः । मैत्रावरुणसंज्ञस्तु तथैव च्यवनो मुनिः
sūta uvāca | bhṛgurhautre tatastena vṛto brāhmaṇasattamāḥ | maitrāvaruṇasaṃjñastu tathaiva cyavano muniḥ
സൂതൻ പറഞ്ഞു— “ഹോതൃ പദത്തിനായി ബ്രാഹ്മണശ്രേഷ്ഠനായ ഭൃഗുവിനെ തിരഞ്ഞെടുത്തു; മൈത്രാവരുണ പദത്തിനായി അതുപോലെ മുനി ച്യവനനെ നിയോഗിച്ചു।”
