kanyāṃ yacchati vṛddhāya nīcāya dhanalipsayā | kurūpāya kuśīlāya sa preto jāyate naraḥ

ധനലോഭത്താൽ തന്റെ കന്യയെ വൃദ്ധനോടും, നീചനോടും, കുരൂപനോടും, ദുഷ്ടാചാരിയോടും ഏല്പിക്കുന്നവൻ—അവൻ പ്രേതനായി ജനിക്കുന്നു.
