अहं मर्त्ये परिभ्रांतश्चिरात्तेन समागतः । भूयो यास्यामि तत्रैव कण्डूतिर्महतीस्थिता

ഞാൻ മർത്ത്യലോകത്തിൽ ദീർഘകാലം അലഞ്ഞുതിരിഞ്ഞ് ഇപ്പോൾ അവനെ കണ്ടുമുട്ടി. എങ്കിലും വീണ്ടും അവിടേക്കുതന്നെ പോകും; കാരണം എനിക്കുള്ളിൽ മഹത്തായ കണ്ഡൂതി—വ്യാകുലത—സ്ഥിരമായി നിൽക്കുന്നു।
