iti śrīskāṃde mahāpurāṇa ekāśītisāhasryāṃ saṃhitāyāṃ ṣaṣṭhe nāgarakhaṇḍe hāṭakeśvarakṣetramāhātmye viśvāmitrarājyaparityāgavarṇanaṃ nāma saptaṣaṣṭyuttaraśatatamo'dhyāyaḥ

ഇങ്ങനെ ശ്രീസ്കന്ദ മഹാപുരാണത്തിലെ ഏകാശീതിസാഹസ്രീ സംഹിതയുടെ ഷഷ്ഠമായ നാഗരഖണ്ഡത്തിൽ, ഹാടകേശ്വരക്ഷേത്രമാഹാത്മ്യത്തിൽ ‘വിശ്വാമിത്രരാജ്യപരിത്യാഗവർണ്ണനം’ എന്ന 167-ാം അധ്യായം സമാപ്തമായി.
