प्रायश्चित्तं प्रदास्यामश्चित्तस्य हृदयंगमम् । अन्ये च ब्राह्मणाः प्रोचुः केचिन्मध्यस्थवृत्तयः
prāyaścittaṃ pradāsyāmaścittasya hṛdayaṃgamam | anye ca brāhmaṇāḥ procuḥ kecinmadhyasthavṛttayaḥ
“ചിത്തത്തെ ഹൃദയത്തിലേക്ക് എത്തി ശുദ്ധീകരിക്കുന്ന പ്രായശ്ചിത്തം ഞങ്ങൾ നിർദ്ദേശിക്കും.” മറ്റു ബ്രാഹ്മണരും പറഞ്ഞു; ചിലർ മധ്യസ്ഥരും സമഭാവികളും ആയിരുന്നു.
