पुष्पादित्य इति ख्यातिं प्रयातु भुवनत्रये । ब्राह्मणा ऊचुः । न वयं याज्ञवल्क्यस्य कीर्तिं नेष्यामहे क्षयम्
puṣpāditya iti khyātiṃ prayātu bhuvanatraye | brāhmaṇā ūcuḥ | na vayaṃ yājñavalkyasya kīrtiṃ neṣyāmahe kṣayam
“ഇത് ‘പുഷ്പാദിത്യ’ എന്ന നാമത്തിൽ ത്രിലോകങ്ങളിലും ഖ്യാതി പ്രാപിക്കട്ടെ.” ബ്രാഹ്മണർ പറഞ്ഞു—“യാജ്ഞവൽക്ക്യന്റെ കീർത്തി ക്ഷയിക്കുവാൻ ഞങ്ങൾ അനുവദിക്കില്ല.”
