इत्येवं बहुधा सोऽपि विललाप सुदुःखितः । स्त्रीचिन्तां बहुधा कृत्वा आत्मानं चाप्यगर्हयत्
ityevaṃ bahudhā so'pi vilalāpa suduḥkhitaḥ | strīcintāṃ bahudhā kṛtvā ātmānaṃ cāpyagarhayat
ഇങ്ങനെ അവൻ അത്യന്തം ദുഃഖിതനായി പലവിധത്തിൽ വിലപിച്ചു. ആ സ്ത്രീയെ വീണ്ടും വീണ്ടും ചിന്തിച്ച് സ്വയം തന്നെ കുറ്റപ്പെടുത്തി.
