पुष्पोऽपि चाब्रवीद्भार्यां माहिकाख्यां ततः परम् । माहिकेद्य मया दृष्टः स्वतातः स्वपुरः स्थितः
puṣpo'pi cābravīdbhāryāṃ māhikākhyāṃ tataḥ param | māhikedya mayā dṛṣṭaḥ svatātaḥ svapuraḥ sthitaḥ
പിന്നീട് പുഷ്പനും ‘മാഹികാ’ എന്ന തന്റെ ഭാര്യയോട് പറഞ്ഞു— “മാഹികേ, ഇന്ന് ഞാൻ എന്റെ സ്വന്തം പിതാവിനെ അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ സ്വന്തം നഗരത്തിൽ നില്ക്കുന്നതായി കണ്ടു.”
