अग्नये स्विष्टकृतैति यावदात्मानमाक्षिपेत् । तावद्धृतः स सूर्येण स्वहस्तेन समंततः
agnaye sviṣṭakṛtaiti yāvadātmānamākṣipet | tāvaddhṛtaḥ sa sūryeṇa svahastena samaṃtataḥ
‘അഗ്നയേ സ്വിഷ്ടകൃത് (സ്വാഹാ)’ എന്നു ചൊല്ലി അവൻ സ്വയം അഗ്നിയിൽ എറിയാൻ ഒരുങ്ങിയപ്പോൾ, അതേ നിമിഷം സൂര്യദേവൻ തന്റെ കൈകൊണ്ട് എല്ലാദിക്കിലും നിന്ന് അവനെ തടഞ്ഞു.
