Śiva (Mahādeva)
Tirtha: Kelīśvarī/Kelīvarī-sthāna (contextual)
Type: kshetra
Scene: A pilgrim at a sacred water-edge completes snāna, then offers flowers, bilva, incense, and lamp before a liṅga or deity-form; the deity’s boon is implied—two paths: fulfillment of wishes and liberation.
The same sacred practice can yield worldly aims for the desirous and mokṣa for the renunciate-minded—intention refines the fruit.
The tīrtha where bathing and worship of Śiva/Malliṅga is performed, praised as efficacious for both bhoga and mokṣa.
Bathe at the tīrtha and worship Śiva; the result depends on whether one is sakāma (desire-oriented) or vikāma (desireless).
