शुक उवाच । ब्रह्मचर्येण चेन्मोक्षस्तत्षण्ढानां सदा भवेत् । गृहस्थाश्रमिणां चेत्स्यात्तत्सर्वं मुच्यते जगत्

Transliteration

śuka uvāca | brahmacaryeṇa cenmokṣastatṣaṇḍhānāṃ sadā bhavet | gṛhasthāśramiṇāṃ cetsyāttatsarvaṃ mucyate jagat

Translation

ശുകൻ പറഞ്ഞു—ബ്രഹ്മചര്യം മാത്രമാൽ മോക്ഷം ലഭിക്കുമെങ്കിൽ, അത് എപ്പോഴും നപുംസകരുടേതായിരിക്കും. ഗൃഹസ്ഥാശ്രമം മാത്രമാൽ മോക്ഷമെങ്കിൽ, സർവ്വലോകവും തന്നെ വിമുക്തമാകുമായിരുന്നു.
