അവിടത്തെ പ്രദേശത്ത് മുനികളിൽ ശ്രേഷ്ഠനായ മാണ്ഡവ്യൻ, ശൂലത്തിൽ കുത്തിയ ദേഹവുമായി, അത്യന്തം ദുഃഖത്തിൽ അവിടെ തന്നെ നിലകൊണ്ടിരുന്നു।
