Transliteration

etasminnaṃtare devāḥ sarve ciṃtāsamākulāḥ | kimidaṃ kṣīyate loko jalasthaiḥ sthalajaiḥ saha

Translation

ഇതിനിടയിൽ എല്ലാ ദേവന്മാരും ചിന്തയിൽ ആകുലരായി (ഇങ്ങനെ പറഞ്ഞു)—‘ജലജീവികളും സ്ഥലയജീവികളും കൂടെ ഈ ലോകം എന്തുകൊണ്ട് ഇങ്ങനെ ക്ഷയിക്കുന്നു?’
