sūta uvāca | sāpi tadvacanaṃ śrutvā pativrataparāyaṇā | hanyamānā viśeṣeṇa tadbāṇairhṛdaye bhṛśam

Translation

സൂതൻ പറഞ്ഞു—അവന്റെ വാക്കുകൾ കേട്ട്, പതിവ്രതധർമ്മത്തിൽ പരായണയായ അവൾ, ആ ബാണങ്ങളാൽ പ്രത്യേകിച്ച് ഹൃദയത്തിൽ അത്യന്തം വേദനിതയായി।
