तेऽपि संध्याजलैर्देवि निहता ब्राह्मणोत्तमैः । मया च तं विमुञ्चंति मूर्च्छिता निपतन्ति च
te'pi saṃdhyājalairdevi nihatā brāhmaṇottamaiḥ | mayā ca taṃ vimuñcaṃti mūrcchitā nipatanti ca
ഹേ ദേവീ! ബ്രാഹ്മണോത്തമരുടെ സന്ധ്യാജലത്താൽ അവരും നിഹതരാകുന്നു; എനിക്കാലും അവർ അവനെ (സൂര്യനെ) വിമുക്തനാക്കി, പിന്നെ മൂർച്ചിച്ച് വീഴുന്നു.
