ततः कतिपयाहस्य तस्तास्तुष्टा सुरेश्वरी । प्रोवाच वरदाऽस्मीति प्रार्थयस्व हृदि स्थितम्
tataḥ katipayāhasya tastāstuṣṭā sureśvarī | provāca varadā'smīti prārthayasva hṛdi sthitam
അനന്തരം ചില ദിവസങ്ങൾക്കു ശേഷം അവളുടെ തപസ്സും പൂജയും കണ്ടു പ്രസന്നയായ ദേവേശ്വരി അരുളിച്ചെയ്തു—“ഞാൻ വരദായിനി; നിന്റെ ഹൃദയത്തിൽ ഉള്ളത് അപേക്ഷിക്ക.”
