पार्वत्युवाच । चापल्याच्च न वक्त्व्यं ब्रह्मपुत्र नमोस्तु ते तव भीतास्मि भद्रं ते देवर्षे मौनमावह
pārvatyuvāca | cāpalyācca na vaktvyaṃ brahmaputra namostu te tava bhītāsmi bhadraṃ te devarṣe maunamāvaha
പാർവതി പറഞ്ഞു—ഹേ ബ്രഹ്മപുത്രാ, ചാപല്യത്തോടെ ഇങ്ങനെ പറയരുത്; നിനക്കു നമസ്കാരം. ഹേ ദേവർഷേ, നിന്റെ വചനങ്ങളെക്കുറിച്ച് ഞാൻ ഭീതയാണ്; നിനക്കു മംഗളം—മൗനം ആചരിക്കൂ.
