अनंता ह्यक्षयाः सर्वे शूरा रुद्रसमा युधि । एवंभूतं च तत्सैन्यं रुद्रैश्च परिवारितम् । दृष्ट्वो चुर्विस्मिताः सर्वे यामोऽद्य शस्त्रपाणयः
anaṃtā hyakṣayāḥ sarve śūrā rudrasamā yudhi | evaṃbhūtaṃ ca tatsainyaṃ rudraiśca parivāritam | dṛṣṭvo curvismitāḥ sarve yāmo'dya śastrapāṇayaḥ
അവരെല്ലാം അനന്തരും അക്ഷയരുമായ ശൂരന്മാർ; യുദ്ധത്തിൽ രുദ്രസമർ. രുദ്രന്മാർ ചുറ്റിപ്പറ്റിയ അത്തരം സേനയെ കണ്ടു എല്ലാവരും അത്യന്തം വിസ്മയിച്ചു—“ഇന്ന് ആയുധം കൈയിൽ പിടിച്ച് മുന്നേറാം” എന്നു ചിന്തിച്ചു.
