तथा यस्तामसो नाम नरकं प्रतिपद्यते । भुक्त्वा बह्वीर्यातनाश्च स्थावरत्वं प्रपद्यते
tathā yastāmaso nāma narakaṃ pratipadyate | bhuktvā bahvīryātanāśca sthāvaratvaṃ prapadyate
അതുപോലെ ‘താമസൻ’ എന്നു വിളിക്കപ്പെടുന്നവൻ നരകത്തെ പ്രാപിക്കുന്നു. അനേകം യാതനകൾ അനുഭവിച്ച ശേഷം അവൻ സ്ഥാവര-യോനി (വൃക്ഷാദി)യെ പ്രാപിക്കുന്നു.
