विमूढश्चाप्टयकार्याणि तानि तानि निषेवते । ततो विनश्यति क्षिप्रं नाशुचिः पूजयेत्ततः । शुचिर्वाभ्यर्चयेद्यश्च तस्य चेदशुभं भवेत्
vimūḍhaścāpṭayakāryāṇi tāni tāni niṣevate | tato vinaśyati kṣipraṃ nāśuciḥ pūjayettataḥ | śucirvābhyarcayedyaśca tasya cedaśubhaṃ bhavet
മോഹിതനായി അവൻ പലവിധ അകാര്യങ്ങളിൽ ഏർപ്പെടുന്നു; അതിനാൽ അവൻ വേഗത്തിൽ നശിക്കുന്നു. അതുകൊണ്ട് അശുചി വ്യക്തി പൂജ ചെയ്യരുത്. എന്നാൽ ശുചിയായി സമ്യകമായി അർച്ചന ചെയ്യുന്നവനിലും എന്തെങ്കിലും അശുഭം സംഭവിച്ചാൽ—
