तस्य पूर्वकृतं व्यक्तं कर्मणां कोटि मुच्यते । महेश्वरो ब्रह्महत्याभयाद्यत्र ततस्ततः
tasya pūrvakṛtaṃ vyaktaṃ karmaṇāṃ koṭi mucyate | maheśvaro brahmahatyābhayādyatra tatastataḥ
അവന്റെ മുൻകൃത കർമ്മങ്ങളുടെ വ്യക്തഫലങ്ങൾ—കോടിക്കണക്കിന് കർമ്മഫലങ്ങളുപോലെ—ക്ഷയിക്കുന്നു. മഹേശ്വരൻ അവിടെ തന്നേ ആ ക്ഷണത്തിൽ ബ്രഹ്മഹത്യാദി ഭയങ്ങളിൽ നിന്ന് മോചിപ്പിക്കുന്നു.
