षंडगानीति चोक्तानि द्वौ च पाकावतः श्रृणु । द्वौ पाकौ दानजौ प्राहुः परत्राथ त्विहोच्यते
ṣaṃḍagānīti coktāni dvau ca pākāvataḥ śrṛṇu | dvau pākau dānajau prāhuḥ paratrātha tvihocyate
ഇങ്ങനെ ‘ഷഡംഗങ്ങൾ’ പ്രസ്താവിച്ചു; ഇനി ‘രണ്ട് പാകങ്ങൾ’ (ഫലപരിപാകം) കേൾക്കുക. ഋഷിമാർ പറയുന്നു: ദാനത്തിൽ നിന്ന് രണ്ട് പാകങ്ങൾ ഉണ്ടാകുന്നു—ഒന്ന് പരലോകത്തിൽ, മറ്റൊന്ന് ഇഹലോകത്തിൽ തന്നെ.
