विंशतिश्च तथा कोट्यो नक्षत्राणां प्रकीर्तिताः । द्वे लक्षे चोत्तरे तस्माद्बुधो नक्षत्रमण्डलात्
viṃśatiśca tathā koṭyo nakṣatrāṇāṃ prakīrtitāḥ | dve lakṣe cottare tasmādbudho nakṣatramaṇḍalāt
നക്ഷത്രങ്ങളുടെ എണ്ണം ഇരുപത് കോടി എന്നു പ്രസിദ്ധമാണ്. ആ നക്ഷത്രമണ്ഡലത്തിന് മുകളിൽ രണ്ട് ലക്ഷം യോജന അകലത്തിൽ ബുധൻ സ്ഥിതിചെയ്യുന്നു।
