यज्ञपावकदग्धा मे पृष्ठिर्नाद्यापि निर्व्रणा । तन्मे भयं पुनर्जातं किमयं पुनरेव माम्
yajñapāvakadagdhā me pṛṣṭhirnādyāpi nirvraṇā | tanme bhayaṃ punarjātaṃ kimayaṃ punareva mām
യാഗാഗ്നിയിൽ എന്റെ പുറം ദഗ്ധമായി; ഇന്നും ആ മുറിവ് മായിട്ടില്ല. അതുകൊണ്ട് എനിക്ക് വീണ്ടും ഭയം ജനിച്ചു—ഇവൻ വീണ്ടും എന്നെ (ഹാനി) ചെയ്യുമോ?
