Transliteration

mārdavaṃ strīprayogeṣu vatsalatvaṃ prajāsu ca | brāhmaṇebhyo bhayaṃ nityaṃ vṛddhavṛttyupajīvanam

Translation

സ്ത്രീകളോടുള്ള ഇടപാടുകളിൽ മൃദുത്വം, പ്രജകളോടും ആശ്രിതരോടും വാത്സല്യം; ബ്രാഹ്മണന്മാരോടു നിത്യവും ഭയഭക്തിയോടുകൂടിയ സംയമം, കൂടാതെ മുതിർന്നവരുടെ മാന്യമായ ജീവിതവൃത്തിയാൽ ഉപജീവനം—ഇവ ധർമ്മഗുണങ്ങളായി പ്രശംസിക്കപ്പെടുന്നു।
