sadojire ca pāṃḍityaṃ prāgalbhyaṃ caraṇāṃgaṇe | ārjavaṃ baṃdhuvargeṣu kāṭhinyaṃ krayavikraye

സ്ഥിരമായ ഓജസ്സോടുകൂടിയ പാണ്ഡിത്യം, സ്വന്തം കര്‍മ്മരംഗത്ത് പ്രാഗല്ഭമായ കഴിവ്; ബന്ധുക്കളോടുള്ള ആര്‍ജവം, വാങ്ങല്‍-വില്‍പ്പനയില്‍ ദൃഢത—ഇവ ധര്‍മാനുസൃതമായ വ്യാവഹാരിക ഗുണങ്ങളായി കണക്കാക്കപ്പെടുന്നു।
