कस्मात्त्वमागता भद्रे कथयस्व यथातथा । किं कार्यं कस्य हेतुश्च सत्यमाख्यातुमर्हसि
kasmāttvamāgatā bhadre kathayasva yathātathā | kiṃ kāryaṃ kasya hetuśca satyamākhyātumarhasi
ഹേ ഭദ്രേ! നീ എന്തുകൊണ്ട് വന്നിരിക്കുന്നു? യഥാതഥമായി സത്യം പറയുക. എന്ത് കാര്യം, ആരുടെ ഹേതുവിനായി? സത്യം അറിയിക്കുക നിനക്കു യുക്തമാണ്.
