न सूर्यो भाति तत्रैव महांधकार संयुतम् । निर्जनं निर्मनुष्यं च बहुयोजनमायतम्
na sūryo bhāti tatraiva mahāṃdhakāra saṃyutam | nirjanaṃ nirmanuṣyaṃ ca bahuyojanamāyatam
അവിടെ സൂര്യനും ഒട്ടും പ്രകാശിച്ചില്ല; മഹാ അന്ധകാരത്തോടെ യുക്തമായ, നിർജനമായ, മനുഷ്യരഹിതമായ, പല യോജന വരെ വ്യാപിച്ചിരുന്ന സ്ഥലമായിരുന്നു അത്।
