मृगैः सिंहैर्वृतं घोरेरन्यैश्चापि वनेचरैः । पुष्पितैः पादपैः कीर्णं सुमनोहरशाद्वलम्

Transliteration

mṛgaiḥ siṃhairvṛtaṃ ghoreranyaiścāpi vanecaraiḥ | puṣpitaiḥ pādapaiḥ kīrṇaṃ sumanoharaśādvalam

Translation

ആ വനം മൃഗങ്ങളും സിംഹങ്ങളും മറ്റു ഭയങ്കര വനചരങ്ങളും ചുറ്റിപ്പറ്റിയിരുന്നു; എങ്കിലും പുഷ്പിതമായ വൃക്ഷങ്ങൾ നിറഞ്ഞതും മനോഹരമായ പച്ചപ്പുല്ലാൽ മൂടപ്പെട്ടതുമായിരുന്നു അത്।
