यम उवाच । मत्पुरं कथमायान्ति मनुजाः पापबृंहिताः । स्नानेनैकेन रेवायाः प्राप्यते वैष्णवं पदम्

yama uvāca | matpuraṃ kathamāyānti manujāḥ pāpabṛṃhitāḥ | snānenaikena revāyāḥ prāpyate vaiṣṇavaṃ padam

യമൻ പറഞ്ഞു— പാപഭാരത്തോടെ നിറഞ്ഞ മനുഷ്യർ എങ്ങനെ എന്റെ നഗരത്തിലേക്ക് വരുന്നു? റേവാ (നർമ്മദ)യിൽ ഒരിക്കൽ സ്നാനം ചെയ്താൽ തന്നെ വൈഷ്ണവപദം, അഥവാ വിഷ്ണുലോകം, ലഭിക്കുന്നു.
