ब्रह्महत्यान्वितः कण्वो निस्तेजा व्यचरन्महीम् । व्यचरंश्चैव सम्प्राप्तो नर्मदामुरिसंगमे
brahmahatyānvitaḥ kaṇvo nistejā vyacaranmahīm | vyacaraṃścaiva samprāpto narmadāmurisaṃgame
ബ്രഹ്മഹത്യാദോഷം ബാധിച്ച കണ്വൻ തേജസ്സില്ലാതെ ഭൂമിയിൽ അലഞ്ഞുതിരിഞ്ഞു; അലഞ്ഞുതിരിഞ്ഞുകൊണ്ടിരിക്കെ അവൻ ഉരിസംഗമത്തിൽ നർമദയെ എത്തിച്ചേർന്നു.
