हनुमानुवाच । किं मयाकारि तत्पापं नन्दिन्देवार्थकारिणा । राक्षसाश्च हता दुष्टा विप्रयज्ञाङ्गघातिनः
hanumānuvāca | kiṃ mayākāri tatpāpaṃ nandindevārthakāriṇā | rākṣasāśca hatā duṣṭā viprayajñāṅgaghātinaḥ
ഹനുമാൻ പറഞ്ഞു: “ഹേ നന്ദീ! ദേവാർത്ഥം പ്രവർത്തിച്ച ഞാൻ എന്ത് പാപം ചെയ്തു? ദുഷ്ടരാക്ഷസന്മാർ വധിക്കപ്പെട്ടു—അവർ ബ്രാഹ്മണരെയും യജ്ഞത്തിന്റെ അംഗങ്ങളെയും നശിപ്പിക്കുന്നവർ ആയിരുന്നു.”
