ततश्चानन्तरं देवश्चिन्तयानो महेश्वरः । न स्कन्दो न हरिर्ब्रह्मा यः कार्येषु क्षमोऽधुना
tataścānantaraṃ devaścintayāno maheśvaraḥ | na skando na harirbrahmā yaḥ kāryeṣu kṣamo'dhunā
അതിനുശേഷം മഹേശ്വരൻ ചിന്തയിലാണ്ടു: "ഇപ്പോൾ ഈ കാര്യത്തിൽ ഇടപെടാൻ സ്കന്ദനോ ഹരിക്കോ ബ്രഹ്മാവിനോ സാധ്യമല്ല."
