स्नेहात्ते कथयिष्यामि वार्द्धकेनातिपीडितः । शृण्वन्तु ऋषयः सर्वे तपोनिष्ठा महौजसः
snehātte kathayiṣyāmi vārddhakenātipīḍitaḥ | śṛṇvantu ṛṣayaḥ sarve taponiṣṭhā mahaujasaḥ
നിനക്കുള്ള സ്നേഹത്താൽ, വാർദ്ധക്യത്താൽ അത്യന്തം പീഡിതനായിട്ടും ഞാൻ ഇതു വിവരിക്കും. തപോനിഷ്ഠരും മഹാതേജസ്സുള്ളവരുമായ എല്ലാ ഋഷിമാരും ശ്രവിക്കട്ടെ।
