कीदृग्रूपा भवेद्देवी सरिदेकार्णवीकृते । किमर्थं नर्मदा प्रोक्ता रेवती च कथं स्मृता
kīdṛgrūpā bhaveddevī saridekārṇavīkṛte | kimarthaṃ narmadā proktā revatī ca kathaṃ smṛtā
എല്ലാ നദികളും ഒന്നായി മഹാസമുദ്രരൂപം പ്രാപിക്കുമ്പോൾ ദേവി ഏതു രൂപം ധരിക്കുന്നു? അവൾ ‘നർമദാ’ എന്നു വിളിക്കപ്പെടുന്നതെന്തുകൊണ്ട്, ‘രേവതി’ എന്ന നാമത്തിൽ എങ്ങനെ സ്മരിക്കപ്പെടുന്നു?
