अवध्यो दानवः पापः सर्वेषां वो दिवौकसाम् । स त्राता सर्वजगतां नान्यो विद्येत कुत्रचित्
avadhyo dānavaḥ pāpaḥ sarveṣāṃ vo divaukasām | sa trātā sarvajagatāṃ nānyo vidyeta kutracit
(ബ്രഹ്മാവ് പറഞ്ഞു:) “ആ പാപിയായ ദാനവൻ നിങ്ങളായ സ്വർഗ്ഗവാസികൾക്കൊക്കെയും അവധ്യനാണ്. സർവ്വലോകങ്ങളുടെ രക്ഷകൻ അവൻ തന്നേ; അവനെക്കാൾ വേറെയാരും എവിടെയും ഇല്ല।”
