राजोवाच । नाहं द्रव्यविहीनस्य असवर्णस्य कर्हिचित् । दास्यामि स्वां सुतां शुभ्रां गम्यतां द्विजपुंगव

rājovāca | nāhaṃ dravyavihīnasya asavarṇasya karhicit | dāsyāmi svāṃ sutāṃ śubhrāṃ gamyatāṃ dvijapuṃgava

രാജാവ് പറഞ്ഞു—“ധനമില്ലാത്തതും അസവർണ്ണനുമായ ഒരുവന് ഞാൻ ഒരിക്കലും എന്റെ ശുഭ്രകുമാരിയെ നൽകുകയില്ല. ഹേ ദ്വിജപുംഗവാ, പോകുക.”
