paścāttṛtīyādeyaṃ yattatpūrvasyāṃ vivarjayet | vidhānamāsāṃ sarvāsāṃ sāmānyaṃ manasaḥ priye

തൃതീയയ്ക്കു ശേഷം നൽകേണ്ടതായി വിധിച്ച ദാനം അതിന് മുമ്പുള്ള ദിവസത്തിൽ നൽകരുത്. ഹേ മനസ്സിന് പ്രിയനേ, ഇത് എല്ലാ മാസങ്ങളുടെയും വിധിക്കുള്ള പൊതുനിയമം.
