മാർക്കണ്ഡേയൻ പ്രസ്താവിച്ച ഈ ശുഭമായ റേവാ-തീർത്ഥക്രമത്തിൽ, മാർക്കണ്ഡേയാശ്രമത്തിന്റെ വർണ്ണനം ഉൾക്കൊള്ളുന്ന പുരാണസംഹിതാധ്യായം ഉണ്ട്।
