उपवासपरो भूत्वा नियतेन्द्रियमानसः । तत्र स्नात्वा विधानेन मुच्यते ब्रह्महत्यया

upavāsaparo bhūtvā niyatendriyamānasaḥ | tatra snātvā vidhānena mucyate brahmahatyayā

ഉപവാസത്തിൽ പരനായി, ഇന്ദ്രിയങ്ങളും മനസ്സും നിയന്ത്രിച്ച്, വിധിപ്രകാരം അവിടെ സ്നാനം ചെയ്താൽ ബ്രഹ്മഹത്യാ പാപത്തിൽ നിന്നുപോലും മോചനം ലഭിക്കും।
