ब्रह्माम्बुधीन्दुप्रमुखानि सौम्य शक्रादिरूपाणि तवोत्तमानि । समुद्ररूपं तव धैर्यवत्सु तेजः स्वरूपेषु रविस्तथाग्निः
brahmāmbudhīndupramukhāni saumya śakrādirūpāṇi tavottamāni | samudrarūpaṃ tava dhairyavatsu tejaḥ svarūpeṣu ravistathāgniḥ
ഹേ സൗമ്യപ്രഭോ! ബ്രഹ്മാ, സമുദ്രം, ചന്ദ്രൻ മുതലായവയും, ശക്രൻ (ഇന്ദ്രൻ) മുതലായ രൂപങ്ങളും—ഇവയെല്ലാം നിന്റെ ഉത്തമ പ്രകടനങ്ങളാണ്. ധൈര്യവാന്മാരിൽ നിന്റെ രൂപം സമുദ്രം; തേജസ്സുള്ളവരിൽ നിന്റെ രൂപം സൂര്യനും അഗ്നിയും.
