Nārāyaṇa
Tirtha: Revā-kṣetra (contextual)
Type: kshetra
Listener: Kāma and apsarases (implicitly), with Mādhava present
Scene: The speaker rejects being lured by song, dance, bodily gestures, and coquettish speech, declaring sense-objects fierce; apsarases’ allure is visually present but rendered powerless by the speaker’s serenity.
Sense-pleasures can be spiritually destructive; restraint and clear seeing protect one’s tapas and inner freedom.
No site is directly praised; the verse supports Revā Khaṇḍa’s broader dharmic message for pilgrims and ascetics.
No external ritual; it teaches inner discipline—non-indulgence and guarding the senses.
