mayi jīvati madbhrātā hyavasthāmīdṛśīṃ gataḥ | dhigjīvitaṃ ca me kiṃtu tapaso vidyate phalam

Translation

ഞാൻ ജീവിച്ചിരിക്കെ തന്നെ എന്റെ സഹോദരൻ ഇത്തരമൊരു അവസ്ഥയിൽ പതിച്ചു! എന്റെ ജീവിതം ധിക്കാരാർഹം; എങ്കിലും തപസ്സിന്റെ ഫലം നിശ്ചയം ഫലിക്കും.
