पृच्छयतां यदि मन्येत राजानं भस्मसात्कुरु । तेषां तद्वचनं श्रुत्वा वाक्यं नारायणोऽब्रवीत्
pṛcchayatāṃ yadi manyeta rājānaṃ bhasmasātkuru | teṣāṃ tadvacanaṃ śrutvā vākyaṃ nārāyaṇo'bravīt
ചോദ്യംചെയ്തുകൊണ്ട് അവർ പറഞ്ഞു—“നിനക്കു യുക്തമെന്നു തോന്നിയാൽ രാജാവിനെ ഭസ്മമാക്കുക.” അവരുടെ വാക്കുകൾ കേട്ട് നാരായണൻ മറുപടി പറഞ്ഞു.
