माण्डव्य उवाच । स्वयमेव कृतं कर्म स्वयमेवोपभुज्यते । सुकृतं दुष्कृतं पूर्वे नान्ये भुञ्जन्ति कर्हिचित्
māṇḍavya uvāca | svayameva kṛtaṃ karma svayamevopabhujyate | sukṛtaṃ duṣkṛtaṃ pūrve nānye bhuñjanti karhicit
മാണ്ഡവ്യൻ പറഞ്ഞു: സ്വയം ചെയ്ത കർമ്മഫലം അവനവൻ തന്നെ അനുഭവിക്കണം. മുൻപ് ചെയ്ത പുണ്യമായാലും പാപമായാലും മറ്റൊരാളും അത് അനുഭവിക്കുകയില്ല.
