अपापस्य तु येनेह कृतमस्य जिघांसनम् । ऋषीणां वचनं श्रुत्वा कृच्छ्रान्माण्डव्यकोऽब्रवीत्
apāpasya tu yeneha kṛtamasya jighāṃsanam | ṛṣīṇāṃ vacanaṃ śrutvā kṛcchrānmāṇḍavyako'bravīt
“ഈ പാപമില്ലാത്തവനെ കൊല്ലാൻ ഇവിടെ ആരാണ് ശ്രമിച്ചത്?” ഋഷികളുടെ വാക്കുകൾ കേട്ട് മാണ്ഡവ്യ മുനി വേദനയോടെ പ്രയാസത്തോടെ പറഞ്ഞു.
