പുലസ്ത്യൻ, പണ്ഡിതനായ പുലഹൻ, മഹാമതിയായ ക്രതു; പ്രാചേതസൻ, വസിഷ്ഠൻ, ദക്ഷൻ, നാരദൻ—ഇവരൊക്കെയും ആ തീർത്ഥത്തിന്റെ പുണ്യവുമായി ബന്ധപ്പെട്ടവർ.
