भूमेर्गन्धं तथा घ्राणं गौरवं मूर्तिमेव च । आत्मा गृह्णात्यजः पूर्वं तृतीये स्पन्दते च सः
bhūmergandhaṃ tathā ghrāṇaṃ gauravaṃ mūrtimeva ca | ātmā gṛhṇātyajaḥ pūrvaṃ tṛtīye spandate ca saḥ
പൃഥ്വീതത്ത്വത്തിൽ നിന്ന് ഗന്ധം, ഘ്രാണേന്ദ്രിയം, ഭാരത്വം, സ്ഥൂലമൂർത്തി എന്നിവ ഉദ്ഭവിക്കുന്നു. അജനായ ആത്മാവ് ആദ്യം ഇവയെ ഗ്രഹിക്കുന്നു; മൂന്നാം മാസത്തിൽ അവൻ സ്പന്ദിച്ച് ചലനം ആരംഭിക്കുന്നു।
