विचारयन्तौ सततं तिष्ठाते तौ दिवानिशम् । ततो ह्यावां प्रणामान्ते यमेन यममूर्तिना

vicārayantau satataṃ tiṣṭhāte tau divāniśam | tato hyāvāṃ praṇāmānte yamena yamamūrtinā

അവർ ഇരുവരും പകലും രാത്രിയും നിരന്തരം ആലോചിച്ചുകൊണ്ട് അവിടെയേ നിലകൊണ്ടിരുന്നു. പിന്നെ നമ്മുടെ പ്രണാമാന്തത്തിൽ യമൻ—യമസ്വരൂപനായി—ഞങ്ങളോടു പറഞ്ഞു.
